Who We Are

We’re students at Greenwich High School who build and program competition robots.

What We Do

We compete in RECF robotics at Greenwich High School.

Our club works on the mechanical design, wiring, and programming of our robots. Students take on different parts of the build and test their work together.

Competition preparation means testing mechanisms, adjusting code, and making changes when something doesn’t work.

Members can work on building, programming, or both. We also organize fundraisers to help cover parts and competition costs.

2023-2024

Foundation Year

  • Cape Cod VEX Robotics Challenge — 2nd Place, Oct 2023
  • Sugar Rush VEX Robotics Competition — Judges Award, Dec 2023
2024-2025

Joining GHS

New leadership took over (Neev and Arnav).The club became part of the school and competed in Massachusetts after two months of preparation.

2025 - 2026

Hard work

Even with a smaller size team and less resources than many other teams, the club persevered and qualified for states, a monumental achievement.

Preparation

After showing what we were capable of with limited resources, the club is prepared and ready for the 2026 season 😈.

Team Structure

Build, Programming, and Strategy work together to prepare for competition.

Build Team

Builds the robot’s frame and mechanisms, and handles wiring, sensors, and power systems.

Programming Team

Writes and tests C++ code for autonomous routines, sensor readings, and driver controls. We use C++ with the PROS library.

Strategy Team

Studies the game rules, scouts other teams, and plans matches with the drive team and alliance partners.

EVERYONE PITCHES IN

Finance & outreach are shared work.

Everyone helps with fundraising, sponsor outreach, and representing the club. These responsibilities belong to the whole team.
